Welcome to LA CALMA, a countryside guesthouse in one of the oldest squares of the second capital of La Cerdanya, in which cultural, culinary and recreational events are held throughout the year.
The aim of the location is to create a liberal and relaxed atmosphere in which the everyday life of the town, and the countryside and 1,001 activities that can be undertaken in it, as well as the pleasant nature of the owners, Maribel and Roger, make your visit to LA CALMA a grand and rewarding experience.

The valley is distinguished for the wide range of activities it makes possible: skiing, paragliding, ultra-light aircraft flying, hot-air ballooning, hiking, mushroom picking, thermal baths, visits to caves and underground shelters, horse riding, cycling… all with that tranquil vibe from LA CALMA.

The house dates back to 1.214, has two floors and was once part of a medieval fortress but has been renovated with an alternative, modern touch. The bedrooms are on both floors and in the bottom floor there is a:

• Bar and communal dining area
• Space to rest by the fireplace and children's playground
• Outside terrace

And there are rooms in which the following facilities and services are provided free of charge:

• Computer with internet access
• Wireless internet service for people with laptop computers
• DVD set and projector for viewing films
• Projector for photography sessions

And the service most requested and valued by guests at LA CALMA: Maribel and Roger’s wise advice when it comes to choosing the best activities to do and the finest routes to cover, in line with the requirements of the guest. The other star service provided is that of displaying on the projector the photographs taken the same day.

At LA CALMA there’s no need to rush back to enjoy Roger’s cooking. Roger prepares drinks and dishes in the same relaxed and creative manner as everything else he does. These include a variety of rich vermouths; of homemade dishes with interesting features from international cuisine; of meat, and his spectacular bananas with chocolate, both charcoal grilled; and invigorating breakfasts with cold meats from La Cerdanya. The prices for lunch and for evening meals are €15 for adults and €10 for children. Breakfast (sweet and savoury) is included in the room's price.

The rooms for three, four and six people at LA CALMA are all fitted with a full bathroom suite and heating, and have TV in them. Skis and suitcases, etc. can be stored under the beds built out of stone that sit higher than floor level. The rooms on the upper floor look onto the Cadí mountain range.
